About our drivers
Tony Rivera
At age 36, Tony Rivera is coming into his own in a big way. In 2008, he rocketed past his competition in the IMSA Challenge GT3 Gold Cup series, finishing 30 points ahead of the next-best driver on the seasion. The World Challenge season in 2009 started better then anyone could have expected for Tony with a win at the season opener at Sebring. Backing that up with two more podiums at Mosport, and Mid-Ohio and another win at Road America. Tony eventually finished 3rd over all for the season.
Steve Ott
Ott previously raced with Rivera with Brass Mitchell Racing, which later evolved into Brass Monkey Racing, in the 2008 Koni Challenge. Like Rivera, his roots are in SCCA Club Racing, where he finished on the podium at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs. Running a partial season in the 2006 Champ Car Atlantic Championship, he scored good results for Newman Wachs Racing.
